Server Status

January 10, 2008

• Updated Squirrelmail on the control panel machine from 1.4.11 to 1.4.13.

December 28, 2007

• PHP on the control panel machine has been switched to use suphp. There was some downtime associated with this change, web sites were offline for about an hour.

November 22, 2007

• We have migrated the lists.samurai.com service to new hardware. This required some downtime in the afternoon/evening.
• As a side-effect of this move, we've also upgraded many software components of the service, including:
  • FreeBSD operating system upgrade from 6.0 to 6.2
  • Apache web server upgrade from 2.0 to 2.2
  • Python scripting language upgrade from 2.4 to 2.5

November 14, 2007

• We have been seeing intermittent failures of the web server on the control panel machine (st01), and as a result have upgraded from Apache 2.0.x to Apache 2.2.x.
• One side-effect of this is that FrontPage extensions no longer work on the server. Please let us know if this is an issue for you.
